Our New Year's
J and I had a very quiet new year's eve. My baby sis came over and we ate some good food, listened to some retro music, played games and toasted with some apple cider. It was a very fun night. And I did get a couple of pictures.

Happy December!!
I am so excited that today is December 1st. I love Christmas and the holidays. Countdown to being on Winter Break too has begun...12 days :) I am looking forward to having two weeks off and going away with my hubby for a couple of days. I hope.
Sorry for the lack of blogging. Life has gotten a bit busy, almost something every weekend. I did decide to finally participate in the December Daily. I have been wanting to join for awhile now and I got my butt in gear, and prepared my album ahead of time too. YAY!! So this will make it easier to pull it altogether too.

so thankful that it's a long weekend...
We're celebrating Thanksgiving over here in Canada and I am so looking forward to a 3 day weekend and some time with my family.
It has been a bit of a crazy and overwhelming week and I am looking forward to relaxing and enjoying not only time with family and friends but a little bit of me time. Doing some organizing, rearranging and being creative. Sounds good to me. I just hope that I can kick off this headache and sore throat that are trying to make themselves heard. I don't want to be sick!!

Happy Canada Day!!
We're celebrating Canada Day over here in my part of the world today!! But I also wanted to say hi and say that I am back and I have lots to share. Things have settled down and I look forward to posting again!!

Happy Mother's Day!!
It's been a good Mother's Day weekend!! My family had a lunch for my Mom yesterday and my sister's house. It was also her first Mother's Day so it was kind of exciting!! We had soup and sandwich. Homemade carrot soup my sister made and a salad. Along with some delicious cupcakes that I made :) It was a-lot of fun, a good day. I love my family. We got a shot of all us girls..this one will be scrap worthy for sure!!
It was hard to get a good shot with Naomi looking at us most of the time rather than the camera.
And my cupcakes....strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese frosting..they were delicious!!
And today, I was lucky enough that my Mom and Dad came over to help me with my garden. Jared got it all ready for me on Friday so, I could work on it this weekend. He was away all weekend taking a soccer coach course so, I had a-lot of help from my parents. It was awesome and fun. Lots of hard work, raking, digging and hoeing (haha). And now my veggie garden is all planted. And I still have some more room for a couple more strawberry and cucumbers. I'm excited. I need to take some photos of the beginning still, which I will post. Also have some sweet peas and my mom planted some of her sunflowers too so, I hope they grow.
I am so lucky to have an awesome family!! Hope your weekend was good!!

Inspiration: Easter
How was your Easter long weekend?! Mine has been good. I still have today off. And just baking some cupcakes in the oven right now. I have my family's dinner tonight over at my sister's house and I said I would bring some cupcakes, which as most of you know I love to make. I will have to post a photo later in the week of them.
